> Yes, it Lives! <

Oh dear. 6 weeks have gone with no updates. Yes, I am alive. No, I didn't die in Miami in a 4 day drug binge or powerboating accident. Yes I am on myspace. No, I'm not gay. Yes, I wear make up. No, I haven't been electrocuted, and no, its not windy outside.

Ok now we got that over with, well, i don't konw where to start. i had so much cool stuff to tell you, but if i write it all now its going to look like an obsessive internet addict with nothing better to do that write huge endless blogs about my superdeppandmeaningful life. And we don't want that.

Well, since the last one - I spent a month in Miami, for a little break and the Miami Music conference, and did gigs in other cites at the weekends. I got into cuban coffee too much. Made lots of cool friends down there. Had a girl wee in my bed. Met more fab pr0n stars (unrelated to weeing incident). Did kareoke too many times. Became a regular on the South Beach jogging route (respect to the Aviator/hippe led gang). Got a tan.

Since I've been back life has been just as busy as before, gigs every Friday and Saturday almost every week, usually Europe, or in the middle of Siberea (where I seem to have a bizzarrely huge fan base - which is nice, but the flights aren't), getting to grips with organising everything that has to be done to launch the 'Stalking you on myspace' single and the 'Electrostep' album. (june 19th for the single and july for the album, before you ask)...

Had a good day last week, went to XFm to get interviewed for Lucios drivetime show, they had 'stalking you on myspace' as the single of the week and have had it playlisted for a while now - nice. Then met up with my PR guru. Dropped into blackmarket records in soho for a quick chat with Ray Keith and Nicky Blackmarket, randomly met DJ Bailey & then Natasha from the Alchemy mastering for some wine, went to dinner with my mate Cooper at Balans, then hit up madame Jojos for Mark moore's LEGENDARY electrogogo night. Fought trannies for the mirror in the bathroom while changing clothes (yes I was that well prepared) and did some quality speed seduction (not the trannies). One high point was getting a girl to cuck my thumb within 20 seconds.

Been listening to some David De'Angelo stuff while jogging and doing the gym lately. Makes a change from hardcore techno etc - i think i might switch to audiobooks for my jogging ipod bizniz over the summer. Been doing a lot of gymming lately, now its sunny its a lot more fun to get out on my bike, ride down there, enjoy the experience, fresh air and just being active - it gets a bit stagnent on planes and just being tired in hotels all the time so I'm a lot more happy to be able to go and jiggle about when I have the time now and the sunnn rules.

Fired up the BBQ for the first time this evening with some posh Bordeaux, and watched the Lesbians battling with Pauline Fowler on Eastenders. I think she's far more butch than Sonia. Hardcore.

Have just finished my latest guest radio show for the XM Satellite radio network in the USA tonight. I'm uploading the mp3 as we speak for archive purposes - will make it public once the show has aired. Am really happy with it - this time no DnB at all - its all 4/4 electrohouse, a new hobby/passion of mine - its nice to play something different for a change, will liven up my DnB stuff too im sure and will be nice to be able to know i can rock up and smash a house club as much as a DnB one...

Last weekend was fun, a bit heavy, but the mighty DJ Linus, my mate Steve seriously helped avoid mega trauma - had a gig down in Plymouth on Friday, Steve soldiered the driving down there, we made it in 3 hours, which is good going indeed, its a long way... Club was great, had a really good set and the whole place was rokkin. Both of my new superfanclans were there, the Chesterfield massive had come all that way again and got a travelodge for the night - and also my more freaky, but equally rokkin fans from Leicester came down too, and apparently broke down on the way homo - that must have sucked - it was a coLd and mega foggy night. Some hardcore klingon mindbending dancing going on too.

Did the Maffia club in Italy on Saturday which was a lot of fun too - i got a good pic of me with the pope...

ok, I can't type any more now, here's a miLLion photos from the last month or so, just mainly from my Cameraphone - and a few i blagged from friends in Minneapolis. OH yeah. I oughta mention that. i think 2 weeks ago, i played for my gorgeous friend Jen's celeb birthday party in Minneapolis - at a club called 'First Avenue' - the place where Prince filmed a lot of the stuff for his movie 'Purple Rain'. I came on after the Presets, and ladytron - 2 of my superdupermost favourite bands at the moment, had a good chat with the ladytron guys, and failed in my attempt at chatting up the ladies of ladytron - the presets vanished like emus in the sand, but rockkkked out their set immensely. Er yeah. ok, so here's all the pics. i'll try to let you konw what they are...

A very large gentleman at the beach. He was sunbathing near me with a tiny towel blatently just blagged from the hotel, lying on his back it just looked like he had fallen from the sky and gone splat. But total props for getting it out on the beach, a lot of judgemental ppl down there, showed he didn't give a FuRk.

Getting in touch with my animal side, outside the Buddhist temple in Ulan-Ude

The futuristic technological baggage claim area in Ulan-Ude airport. Policed by the most scarey old Russian Lady in the universe. Forget the bouncers & security they have outisde the Bars in Maidenhead, just hire those ladies they keep in the baggage claim hall! TERRIFYING. "WHEREEEE IZZZZ YOUUURRR TIKKKKETTTT???"

Apparently this is the record holder for the biggest statue of Lenin's head, in the world. It's big.

Feeling apprehensive at the thought of 6 hours in a squashed up seat, in a plane where you had to get in like a cargo plane, up the back. BOH!

Snowy Russian place.

I had no paper so wrote on her boobies.

In Ulan Ude I think.

Russian dinner. Was very nice actually.

Arriving in one of the Russian airports, after looong flight, cramped and no sleep. At least it was a nice sunny morning and not -25 deg C like last time!

> Quick weekend update and pics <

Hallo again. Just a quick update, have a few more photos from this weekend... Just got back from the Airport, played at the 'Kings of the Castle' Rave in NeuStadt, in Germany last night, flew to Frankfurt and then it was about 90Km to the city. Nice place, from what I could tell... The rave was great - organised by the mighty Dirk and Sven from Mannheim - up in a big castle on the top of a hill out in the countryside. Rammmmmed and superhot - but I had my new fab i got from ebay which did indeed save the day... Hung out with MC Skibadee, Fatman-D and MC 5-0 in our posh pimped-out people-carrier on the way from the airport, met up with Bryan Gee, Krust, Mampi Swift, Aphrodite & GQ when we got there - a LOT of people on the bill. Gig went really well, as usual, my track 'German Girls' Killled it - had everyone singing along, was so much fun. Oh and there was some fabulous cheap fizzy white wine I found under the decks which made it even more of an event. Well, I exaggerate there - but you're lucky to find anything decent to drink at 4am in the DJ booth at a rave, so it was worthy of comment...

Friday night was a laugh too, it was my first free Friday night in agessssss so I just went out in Maidenhead with my mates, got social and met a bunch of new and fabulous people. Including someone who was wearing one of my 'stalking you on myspace' shirts! We hung out for a bit to make it look like it was planned and not totally uncool...

Me just about to go onstage in Germany on Saturday:

Gereral rave scenario

On the way back to the hotel, with part of the castle in the background (check out the new blazer... BOH!)

Oh, and i got a new digital camera now (SOMEONE ELSE) broke my crappy casio a couple of weeks ago in Bremen - finally ditched it and got a Sony T9 - hope its ok - I'll take lots of self indulgent emo pensive shots this week and you can be the judge of that...

lots of love to you all, oh and big ups to everyone in the crowd on Saturday - excellent atmosphere - thanks!

> JOHN B ELECTOHOUSE DJ MIX SHOWCASE // XM RADIO MAY 2006 MP3 DJ MIX <

Yes - it's finally here... My latest show for XM Radio, and you guys get the VIP advance mp3 biznizch... Feel free to share with your friends, upload mirrors to yousendit.com and all that bizniz, post the links on your local message boards - will probably save my servers some trauma...

This time I went all in for a full hour of 4/4 electrohouse & electro-techno, with a bit of chat for those that have a soft spot for English accents... :-) This mix should serve as a showcase of how & what I play for alternative non-DnB sets (if it's ever required) - grimey electrohouse, a bit of 'minimal' & stonking electro-techno with rocky-guitars...

So yeah, check out the Redux show on XM radio, on 'The Move' channel next week, or if you don't have an XM subscription just DL the mp3 file here:
